Ted is an upcoming 2012 American comedy film, directed, written and produced by Seth MacFarlane (creator of Family Guy, co-creator of American Dad! and The Cleveland Show) and stars himself, Mark Wahlberg, Mila Kunis, Giovanni Ribisi, Jessica Stroup, and Patrick Warburton. Filming began in May 2011 in Boston and Swampscott, Massachusetts. The movie, which is the feature-length directorial debut for MacFarlane, is produced by Media Rights Capital, and will be distributed by Universal Pictures.
